CT Nursery Direct Chat now

Frequently asked questions

Pricing, delivery, spacing and planting: what homeowners ask us most.

Do you sell to homeowners or only to landscapers?

Homeowners are welcome. You get the same wholesale-direct pricing whether you need a single shrub or a full privacy hedge, and landscapers and contractors can order too.

What do you sell?

Three categories: privacy trees, shrubs and bushes. Availability changes with the season, so ask about anything you have in mind and we’ll tell you what’s in stock.

How do I get a price?

Send a quote request or start a chat with the plants, sizes and quantities you want, or just describe your project. We reply with pricing and delivery details for what is in stock.

Why are your prices lower than a garden center?

You buy direct from the nursery source. There’s no distributor or retail store in between, so you pay wholesale-direct prices instead of retail markup.

Do you deliver?

Yes. We deliver to homes in Connecticut, and the delivery cost is included in your quote so there are no surprises.

What’s the difference between shrubs and bushes?

We use shrubs for structured, often evergreen plants such as foundation plantings and low borders, and bushes for fuller, often flowering plants that add color and fill out beds and fence lines. Not sure which you need? Describe the spot and we’ll suggest options.

How many privacy trees do I need?

It depends on the length of the line and the tree. Upright arborvitae are often planted about 3 to 6 feet apart. Tell us the length and the look you want and we’ll work out the count.

When is the best time to plant in Connecticut?

Spring and early fall are ideal. Mild temperatures and regular rain help new roots settle in before summer heat or winter frost.
